We are looking for a Mid Environmental Specialist to strengthen our ambitious product compliance team in Kaunas, Lithuania. You will work with the leading Teltonika Networks solutions in the world and master your environmental compliance skills.

 

Teltonika Networks Research and Development division develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

Teltonika provides an opportunity for every ambitious environmental specialist to improve their skills and contribute to the environmental compliance of our products.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive, Packaging and Packaging Waste (PPW) Regulation.
  • Ensure compliance of company products with RoHS Directive and REACH Regulation.
  • Ensure compliance with CMRT, EMRT, Conflict minerals – Dodd-Frank Act requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with other hazardous materials regulations (PFAS, California Proposition 65, POPs, TSCA, etc.).
  • Monitor and interpret environmental legislation applicable to company products.
  • Ensure company compliance with EU environmental requirements: greenhouse gas emissions, carbon footprint calculations, life cycle analysis.
  • Support internal departments and the clients on environmental compliance-related issues.
  • Collect data and documentation for environmental reporting.
  • Maintain internal documentation and records to demonstrate compliance.
  • Evaluate contracts with the clients from an environmental perspective.
  • Participate in audits and assessments related to environmental regulations.

 

What we expect of you: 

  • Have higher education in chemistry/environmental/electronics science (might be last year student).
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in working with environmental compliance in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Have experience and knowledge of the above environmental regulations applicable to electronic products (RoHS, REACH, etc.).
  • Have strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Able to collect, analyse and systematize information.
  • Have good MS Office skills.
  • Are fluent in English (reading and writing).
  • Are a responsible, well-organised person with leadership, independence, demanding attitude, good communication and organisational skills.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 16 Eur/h up to 26 Eur/h (~2670 Eur— 4340 Eur) pre-tax.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
