Accounting Analyst

We are looking for an Accountant Analyst to join our team in São Paulo, Brazil. This role is ideal for a professional with strong accounting expertise, hands-on experience with local compliance, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with global stakeholders.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare and manage the main financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow).
  • Lead monthly and annual closings, including P&L reporting, in collaboration with the CFO
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records, journal entries, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Brazilian accounting, tax, and statutory requirements
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including billing and reconciliations
  • Monitor cash flow and support foreign exchange operations
  • Support inventory control, monthly inventory audits, and reconciliation of assets and liabilities
  • Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Prepare financial reports for internal management and external stakeholders
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Contribute to process improvements related to accounting, importation, and financial controls

 

What we expect of you:

  • Good English skills (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting roles (mid-level or senior)
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian accounting and tax legislation
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
  • High attention to detail, organization, and ownership mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Nice to Have: Active CRC; Knowledge of financial routines such as cash flow, AP/AR, and budgeting; Experience in multinational or international environments; Familiarity with IFRS
