We are looking for a Chief of Software Products Development Group to own the software portfolio for internal tools that enable Teltonika device configuration, over-the-air updates, tachograph data handling, connectivity, and firmware services. This role involves leading and coaching Product Owners, aligning the portfolio with business strategy, leading cross-team delivery (primarily on a .NET stack), and ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.

Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.  

In this role, Core Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Leadership: Define the vision, set the long-term roadmap, manage priorities and resources, and lead the portfolio management process.
• Team & Process Management: Lead the Product Owners team and continuously improve day-to-day workflows.
• Delivery Coordination: Ensure architectural alignment and establish clear delivery standards (Definitions of Ready and Done).
• Architecture & Quality (hands-on optional): Collaborate on .NET microservices, APIs, and ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Security & Compliance: Promote secure-by-design principles and manage certification and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Translate business needs into actionable portfolio outcomes and communicate clear, transparent roadmaps.
• Data & Product Operations: Define success metrics and maintain clean, prioritized product backlogs.

What we expect of you:

• 5+ years in product/portfolio management (at least 2+ years leading multiple software products or platforms).
• Proven delivery of internal tools/platforms used by engineering/ops or large partner ecosystems.
• Strong competency with .NET-based products and API/platform thinking (doesn’t need to code; must be fluent).
• History of leading Product Owners and cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, DevOps, Security).
• Demonstrated success with FOTA/firmware distribution, device configuration at scale, or analogous update/config systems.
• Solid grounding in cloud (Azure, AWS), CI/CD, IaC, observability, incident management, and cost controls.
• Track record implementing OKRs/PPM, value frameworks, and portfolio reporting.

Salary We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 27 Eur/h up to 35 Eur/h (~4500 Eur—5850 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.
