EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER JUNIOR/MID/SENIOR • TELEMATICS

We are currently inviting an ambitious Embedded Systems Developer to join our growing R&D team in Vilnius/Kaunas, Lithuania. You will work with the leading telematics solutions in the world and master your development skills.

Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.

Teltonika provides an opportunity for every ambitious Embedded Systems Developer to improve their skills and develop comprehensive knowledge of products.

In this role, you will:

• Develop new and existing products in C/C++ programming language
• Improve existing features
• Be involve in the maintenance of documentation
• Participate in Agile (Scrum) team life and internal processes
• Work with hardware engineers, software developer teams, and Product Owners during development life - cycle
• Take part in mentorship and coaching others to work with these technologies

What we expect of you:

• To have 1+ years of experience in programming embedded systems in C/C++
• To have knowledge of embedded system debugging tools and various measuring equipment
• To have experience in writing device drivers
• To have independent problem-solving ability in large embedded systems projects
• Proficiency in multi-task embedded system architecture design methodologies and the latest software quality standards
• Good English language skills (both spoken and written), as it will be your primary working language.

IDEALLY, YOU’LL ALSO HAVE

• Degree in Computer Science / Electronics engineering
• Knowledge of other programming or scripting languages
• Understanding of digital electronics schematics
• BLE, GSM, LTE, GPS modules programming experience

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 15 Eur/h up to 40 Eur/h (~2450 Eur—6600 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
