HEAD OF RND • EV CHARGING

We are currently inviting an ambitious Head of R&D to join our growing team in Vilnius, Lithuania, to help drive innovation and strengthen our global presence in the electric vehicle (EV) sector.

Teltonika’s EV charging business unit develops smart and customisable electric vehicle charging solutions, enabling more efficient and sustainable driving. As charging needs evolve, Teltonika will continue providing the infrastructure and expertise needed for successful electric mobility adoption.

In this role you will:

• Translate the company's long-term goals into the product & technology strategy
• Identify and develop innovative products for new applications
• Attract, lead, and empower a multi-disciplined R&D team to grow and deliver the best results
• Ensure that product development projects are running on time and within budget
• Conduct and facilitate research on leading-edge technologies and make determinations on implementation
• Own performance KPIs and take full responsibility for R&D planning, execution, and progress reporting to ensure alignment with company goals and timely project delivery

What we expect of you:

• Have 5+ years of experience operating in technical leadership roles
• Have a strong leadership qualities and skill to motivate people and excite them about the Goals with the ability to attain and maintain the total commitment of the team
• Have a „hands-on“ experience in technical product development in the electronics fields with a deep understanding in manufacturing process
• Have a high degree of user empathy and actively seek to test, learn, and iterate based on user feedback
• Ability to schedule resources effectivelly, project planning, and control
• A very good communicator
• Very good English skills

Salary:

Fixed (tariff) salary ranges from 40 Eur/h (6500 EUR) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise.*

 *In an employment agreement we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
