INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER • TELTONIKA IOT GROUP

We are looking for an Information Security Officer to strengthen our IT systems development team in Vilnius, Lithuania and support the Teltonika IoT Group companies.

The headquarters, run by the parent company Teltonika IoT Group, coordinates the activities of Lithuanian high-tech companies operating under the brand name of Teltonika as well as all the representative offices of Teltonika around the world.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Define, implement, and maintain the organization’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and NIS2 requirements.
  • Act as a single point of accountability for information security, reporting to senior management.
  • Perform risk management, compliance monitoring, and internal audit activities, ensuring security policies, standards, and processes are up to date.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain information security and governance policies (e.g., Access Control, Data Protection, Incident Management, Disaster Recovery, Supply Chain Security).
  • Lead security incident response activities, including monitoring, investigation, and remediation in cooperation with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Lead and take part in administration of security operations technologies (e.g., SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, identity and access controls).
  • Coordinate security awareness and training programs across the organization.
  • Support projects involving new IT, IoT, and cloud solutions to ensure security-by-design principles.
  • Prepare documentation, guidelines, and reporting to management and external auditors/regulators.

 

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in information security, risk management, or IT security operations.
  • Proven knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 implementation, certification, and audit practices.
  • Experience in risk assessment, compliance frameworks, and security governance.
  • Hands-on experience with security operations (SecOps) tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, IAM, vulnerability management).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and industry requirements (e.g., GDPR, NIS2, CIS Controls).
  • Ability to work independently, balancing strategic leadership and technical execution.
  • Excellent communication skills in Lithuanian and English (both spoken and written).

 

Ideally, you would also have:

  • Professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CASP+ (SecurityX), ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or CEH.
  • Experience in GRC tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud security controls (Azure, AWS).
  • Knowledge of incident response frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
  • Demonstrated skills in project management and cross-departmental collaborati.

Salary:

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position starts from 35 Eur/h (~5836 Eur) to 45 Eur/h (7503) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
