MID/SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER • TELEMATICS

We are expanding the TachoSync development team and are looking for a Mid/Senior .NET Developer to help us build and scale a mission-critical tachograph data management platform used by fleet operators across Europe.

TachoSync is a hybrid cloud and on-premises SaaS product that automates the remote collection, processing, and delivery of tachograph data from thousands of vehicles. The system operates 24/7 and must be reliable, compliant, and predictable under real-world conditions: intermittent connectivity, hardware constraints, regulatory rules, and high data volumes.

As part of a cross-functional product team, you will work on backend services that orchestrate device communication, download scheduling, data validation, storage, and integrations. You will contribute to architectural decisions, improve system resilience, and help us evolve from a growing product into a mature, scalable platform.

This role suits an engineer who enjoys long-lived systems, ownership, and solving complex backend problems where correctness and reliability matter more than quick demos.

In this role, you will:

• Design and develop high performance scalable and reliable software.
• Write high quality, clean, and maintainable code.
• Test and debug software.
• Investigate and resolve software issues.
• Monitor and analyze software performance, also search for ways to optimize it.
• Assist team members to achieve common goals.
• Collaborate with other departments in analyzing, evaluating, and implementing complex solutions.
• Work independently and within an Agile Scrum team.

We believe that you:

• Stay up-to-date on the latest .NET technologies.
• Have a strong understanding of C#, ASP.NET, and other .NET technologies.
• Have experience with MySQL or other relational database and ORM (Entity Framework Core).
• Know how to design and develop RESTful APIs.
• Apply SOLID principles in your everyday work.
• Have experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Have experience with some major cloud providers.
• Experience of writing Unit and Integration tests.
• Have good communication and teamwork skills.
• Mentor and train junior developers.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable systems.
• Expertise in utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with Docker/Podman containerization technologies.
• Experience working with Sentry, Elasticsearch, Kibana, or similar log management tools.
• Experience working with real-time communication between servers and clients.
• Experience in integrating various devices into applications.
• Knowledge of cloud and on-premise alternatives for virtual machines, distributed cache, message queue, blob file storage.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 27 Eur/h up to 32 Eur/h (~4500 Eur—5300 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get quaterly bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
