SENIOR IOT SUPPORT ENGINEER • SECURITY SYSTEMS

We are looking for a founding IoT Support Engineer to join our newly created technical support function at Teltonika Security Systems. This role is designed for a specialist who will not only provide technical support but will also build the entire support department from scratch and, over time, grow into a Team Lead / Head of Technical Support.  You will work with the leading security systems solutions in the world.

 

Teltonika’s security business unit designs and manufactures advanced electronic devices for intrusion detection and building protection. Our products are used in residential, commercial environments to enhance safety and provide intelligent monitoring. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies, we aim to set new benchmarks in the security industry.

In this role, you will: 

  • Be responsible for building the technical support function from zero, including  and implementation of helpdek / ticketing systems.
  • Defining support workflows, priorities, escalation rules and ect.
  • Create and maintain a knowledge base / wiki for both clients and internal teams. 
  • Work with advanced security systems, including alarm control panels, modules, and communicators designed for professional applications.
  • Gain hands-on experience with the proprietary KRbus system bus for seamless module integration.
  • Explore integration with modern wireless detectors and accessories using LoRa-based radio technology.
  • Troubleshoot, provide assistance, and consult clients via a dedicated ticketing system or online meetings/chats if they are needed.
  • Cooperate with RnD, quality assurance and project management teams to ensure the maintenance of the projects and that solutions reach the clients on time.
  • In the future – participate in building your own technical support team, onboarding, mentoring and motivating new team members. 

 

 

What we expect of you: 

  • Telecommunications, electronics, informatics, engineering education or previous work experience in technical or engineering fields.
  • Strong motivation not only to “do support”, but to build systems, processes and documentation from scratch. 
  • Passion for providing help to others, caring, willing to grow and enrich your technological know-how.
  • Great communication skills, are capable of fluently speaking and writing in English (proficiency in other languages will be considered as an advantage.)
  • Analytical and creative thinking and mindset for problem-solving and troubleshooting.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 12 Eur/h up to 20 Eur/h (~2000 Eur—3400 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
