SOFTWARE TESTER (QA) • TELEMATICS

We are looking for a Software Tester (Mid) to join our growing team in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a member of a cross-functional team, your primary focus will be ensuring the quality and reliability of our software product, designed for configurating our hardware solutions. Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management across logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. We use the latest technologies to set new standards for the telematics industry.

In this role, you will:

• Define and implement advanced testing strategies and processes for product.
• Test functionalities of devices configuration software.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test scenarios and test cases.
• Design and develop automated tests (e.g. functional, performance, etc.)
• Verify products functionality compliance with documentation.
• Discover problems, register and report them to the development team.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to develop effective strategies and test plans.

What we expect of you:

• A strong background in QA with specific expertise in test automation (at least 2+ years of experience)
• Hands-on experience with test automation using tools like Selenium, WebDriver, Playwright, Cucumber, etc.
• Disciplined approach for planning, designing, executing and reporting on software testing.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools and software development lifecycle.
• Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Good spoken and written English skills.
• Organizational skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously while delivering results.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development team.

Ideally, you also have:

• Experience in Jira or similar bug-tracking tool.
• Experience in Zephyr scale Jira plugin.
• Experience in Firmware/Hardware testing.
• Experience with a programming language (TypeScript, JavaScript, C#)
• Knowledge of 2G/3G/LTE, BT/BLE.
• Other appropriate experience – you name it.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 15 Eur/h up to 20 Eur/h pre-tax (~2500 Eur/month — 3300 Eur/month gross), depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
