TEAM LEAD OF SOFTWARE ENGINEERS GROUP • NETWORKING SOLUTIONS

We are looking for an ambitious team lead of software engineers group to join our growing R&D team in Vilnius to help us grow our global presence in IoT sector by quickly and effectively responding to changing market needs and offers reliable, safe and easy-to-use solutions for such areas as Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and inspire a team of software engineers developing VPN solutions, dynamic routing, and other advanced networking services.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to enhance team performance and satisfaction.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with other teams.
• Effectively manage team workload, set clear priorities, and balance resources to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Mentor engineers through regular feedback, performance reviews, and personalized growth plans.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to maintain cutting-edge expertise within the team.
• Facilitate clear communication between departments to align development efforts with business goals.
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigations strategies to minimize impact.
• Lead efforts to improve development processes, boost system performance, and enhance product quality.

What we expect of you:

• Proven experience in leading technical teams, managing priorities, and balancing workloads effectively.
• Ability to set clear objectives, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement across projects and processes.
• Have experience in providing constructive feedback and career development support.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of computer networks, VPN technologies, and routing protocols.
• Good written and verbal English skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Understanding of user experience principles and ability to incorporate them into product design and development
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Gitlab) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience of working with OpenWRT/VyOS/Yocto projects.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 30 Eur/h up to 40 Eur/h (~5000 Eur—6680 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
