## Description

We are looking for a **Head of Product Engineering Department** to strengthen our ambitious team in Vilnius, Lithuania. 

Our **manufacturing facilities** in Vilnius and Molėtai, Lithuania, not only produce and assemble Teltonika’s devices but also provide external clients with product design and contract manufacturing services, from prototyping to high-volume serial production. We use advanced automation and robotics to turn any complex idea into a complete product.

**In this role, you will:**

-   Oversee the full product development cycle — from concept and prototyping to implementation in production.
-   Lead and grow the Product Engineering team, fostering collaboration, motivation, and excellence.
-   Organize and monitor all activities of the Product Engineering department, ensuring tasks are completed on time and according to standards.
-   Collaborate with production, supply chain, and quality departments to resolve technical issues.
-   Implement and continuously improve work methodologies and process standardization.
-   Ensure engineering solutions meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and cost efficiency
-   Lead customer and certification audits, ensuring full compliance with industry standards.
-   Participate in customer visits, providing technical expertise and representing the company.
-   Manage project changes (engineering change management), ensuring proper documentation, approval, and implementation.
-   Lead project management for key engineering initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery, scope control, and resource allocation.
-   Represent the department in company-wide strategic projects.

**What we expect of you:**

-   Higher education in engineering (mechanical, electronics, or related field).
-   At least 3–5 years of experience leading an engineering team.
-   Proven background in product development / engineering / manufacturing.
-   Strong project management skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
-   Leadership qualities, ability to motivate the team and make decisions.
-   Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal C1 level or higher (english will be used daily in all communication).

**Salary:**

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary that will match your skillset in the field. The salary for this position ranges **from 24 Eur/h up to 30 Eur/h (~4032 Eur – 5040 Eur)** pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise.
