We are seeking a Head of Group Sales to strengthen our ambitious sales team in Tokyo, with a focus on expanding Teltonika’s telematics footprint across Japan. As a Sales Executive, you’ll represent some of the world’s leading telematics solutions in fleet management, connecting with top clients across the logistics, agriculture, car-sharing, and construction sectors in Japan to meet their GPS tracking and telematics needs.

 

Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in such spheres as logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.

 

 

In this role, you will:
 

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives to achieve 100% of the sales plan, ensuring a motivated and high-performing team.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions to equip Sales Executives with the skills and knowledge required to excel independently in their roles.
  • Oversee the internal CRM system and ensure that the administrative processes, from requests to payment, strictly follow the established SOPs.
  • Contribute to market research efforts, identifying new opportunities for growth and assessing market potential in Japan.
  • Supervise order tracking, ensure accuracy, and coordinate resolutions for technical inquiries to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Director and provide support for various strategic initiatives and assigned tasks.
     

What we expect of you:
 

  • Strong English skills (written and oral) as the primary working language (minimum B2 level required); Japanese language proficiency is a necessity, especially when engaging with Japanese clients.
  • At least three years of experience in B2B sales, with a track record of delivering results you’re proud of, preferably in telematics, IoT, or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent time management, critical thinking, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Capability to analysed data, make sound decisions independently, and develop strategic plans to drive sales growth.
  • A strong focus on achieving results, backed by a history of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Market knowledge: experience in the IoT and Telematics industries would be advantageous.
