We are currently expanding our development team and are looking for MID DevOps engineer who starting as a member of a cross-functional team, will be working on – cloud-hybrid solution for remote firmware and configuration update. Later you will apply your knowledge to help other teams too. Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.
In this role, you will:
- Analyse and solve complex tasks.
- Implement and improve CI / CD processes.
- Dockerize new and existing applications.
- Monitor the systems and improve the processes of monitoring.
- Apply Infrastructure as code.
- Improve the security of the systems.
- Provide technical assistance to colleagues.
- Document integrated solutions.
- Apply DevOps best practices.
- Maintain RnD department’s internal systems.
- Integrate and improve new systems in the RnD department.
What we expect of you:
- Have extensive knowledge of CI / CD processes.
- Have experience of implementation of hybrid cloud solutions using popular cloud provider solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Have good knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Have systems installation and maintenance experience.
- Have experience working with Bash, PowerShell and Python scripts.
- Relational database administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with configuring, managing, and troubleshooting TCP/IP networks.
- Have good English languages skills (both spoken and written).
Ideally, you also have:
- Experience in automatization cloud infrastructure delivery.
- Experience with MySQL, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, JIRA, Sentry, GitLab, ELK stack, RabbitMQ, MinIO, Redis.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher or analogous Azure or GCP certificate(s).
- Theoretical and practical knowledge using Infrastructure as code (IaC) paradigm and tooling.
- Good understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, subnetting, and network security practices.

Salary
We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary that will match your skillset and expertise in the field. The salary for this position ranges from 27 EUR/h up to 32 Eur/h (~4500 – 5340 EUR) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise with the option to get bonuses.
*In an employment agreement we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
