.NET TEAM LEAD • TELEMATICS

We are looking for a .NET Team Lead to manage a cross-functional team of .NET, React developers and DevOps engineers in Vilnius. The team develops and maintains a large hybrid (cloud and on-premises) vehicle tracking device management system that serves millions of IoT devices daily. Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.

In this role, you will:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of .NET and React developers
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment
• Collaborate with product owner and stakeholders to define project scope and requirements
• Collaborate with other departments in analyzing, evaluating and implementing complex high-performance solutions
• Plan team work ahead in order to keep consistent workflow
• Together with a team contribute to the technical design and architecture of applications, produce and deploy high quality, tested and maintainable code
• Ensure adherence to company defined programming standards and procedures
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback to team members
• Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training opportunities
• Together with a team investigate and resolve technical issues reported by internal and external users
• Participate in the hiring process for new team members

What we expect of you:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Good Lithuanian and English language skills (both spoken and written)
• 3+ years of experience of C#, .NET platform (or, alternatively, Java platform)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL)
• Knowledge of at least one ORM system (e.g. Entity Framework)
• Experience in at least one of the testing frameworks (e.g. xUnit)
• Knowledge of OOP principles and practices

Ideally, you also have:

• Experience as a Team Lead or in a similar leadership role
• Good understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)

• Knowledge of the latest .NET technologies (or, alternatively, Java)

• Experience mentoring and training junior developers
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• CI/CD practice experience
• Experience in IoT development practices
• Familiarity with Front End web development (e.g. React)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary that will match your skillset and expertise in the field. The salary for this position ranges from 27 EUR/h up to 32 Eur/h (~4500 – 5340 EUR) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
