The primary purpose is to cover the Kazakhstan market, as well as the countries of Central Asia such as Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia etc. with different IoT products from GPS tracking systems to networking solutions to B2B clients.

Currently, Teltonika Kazakhstan (a subsidiary of Teltonika IoT Group) is looking for IoT Solutions Engineer to join us in our Kazakhstan office in Almaty. In this position, you will report into the Teltonika Telematics Technical Support team.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

 

  • Guide employees and customers on how to use Teltonika Telematics devices and solutions (consult, provide trainings)
  • Solve technical issues and ensure prevention
  • Constantly supervise and prepare the devices technical documentation
  • Assess customer needs in the local region, in topics such as, but not limited to, new features, raise proposals for implementation and supervise implementation process
  • Participate in direct communication with clients to answer technical questions (conference calls, visits to clients)
  • Perform quality assurance tasks before providing solution to customer
  • Coordinate queries with R&D, Production, QA and Supply management.
  • Train internal Sales Managers & Clients on internal configuration systems and devices.

 

WE BELIEVE THAT YOU:

 

  • Are fluent in Russian (both spoken and written) and consider your English proficiency level to be on B2
  • Understand basics of telecommunication systems and IOT technologies: 2G, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, ability to explain GNSS technology fundamentals
  • Can analyse and solve complex technical problems
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Are a self-starter that is solution orientated and will find was to gather information to solve complex tasks
  • Have knowledge of and worked on Microsoft suite products (Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, etc)
  • Have experience working with IoT solutions (1-Wire, RS-232/RS-485, Modbus, MQTT, TLS)

 

IDEALLY, YOU’LL ALSO HAVE

 

  • Experience working on secure Cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure)
  • Worked as IT support
  • Worked in IT Asset Administration
  • Direct technical experience working with Telematics solutions for at least 1 year
  • Capability to prepare technical documentation
