Technician

We are looking for a Technician to service and repair IoT hardware, including telematics devices, routers, and switches in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will be adept at diagnosing and resolving hardware issues such as modem, fuse, antenna and other component malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot faulty IoT devices with issues related to modems, fuses, antennas, and other components, research the issue, isolate the problem, and resolve it.
• Functionality Test: Conduct continuity tests to ensure functionality and may carry out measurements for error analysis. 
• Detailed debugging: Conduct detailed analysis and debugging to identify root causes of hardware failures.
• Error Reproduction: Creating test setups: Service Technician may create test setups for error reproduction.
• Hardware Repair: Perform repairs by replacing faulty components such as modems and fuses and executing soldering tasks as needed.
• Coordinating and Documenting test procedures: Service engineers may coordinate complaints with the Technical Support Engineers and document test procedures and report results to the Technical Support Engineers.
• Creating analysis reports: Prepare root cause analysis report whenever required and may implement corrective and preventative actions. 
• Logistics Assistance: Assist the logistics team with packing and preparing devices for shipment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience and good knowledge about PCBs and associated Electronic Components.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in diagnosing hardware issues.
• Proficiency in soldering and performing continuity tests.
• Ability to assist in logistics and packing as required.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Relevant technical diploma/degree or ITI certified course.

Salary:
