Accountant

Currently, Teltonika Canada is looking for an Accountant to join our office in Downtown Toronto.
In this role, you will:
- Manage company finances, including expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts, and payroll.
- Prepare regular financial reports (weekly, monthly, yearly).
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and account reconciliations.
- Create financial documents (Balance Sheets, Trial Balances, Ledgers).
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and holdback accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage corporate credit card reconciliations and wire transfers.
- Ensure timely vendor payments, including cheque processing and distribution.
- Maintain communication with vendors and creditors to address inquiries and requirements.
- Handle full-cycle payroll for salaried, commission, and contract employees.
- Calculate and remit government payments and reconcile accounts.
- Reconcile bank accounts, manage deposits, and prepare financial statements.
- Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance.
- Other tasks as assigned.
What we expect of you:
- 1+ years of Accounting/Payroll experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Technologically savvy and forward thinking, with an interest in improving efficiencies through automation and technology
